BEN's Music Box: Chapter 4 (BENxJeff)

"Just wake up, BEN," Jeff whispered. "Just wake up."

"Jeff!" BEN yelled as he woke up. He searched for his companion once again, but once again, he was not there. BEN wanted to cry, but the tears didn't come. He seemed to have run out. However, a drip of blood did drip down his face. But it wasn't his tears. "What the...?" BEN removed his hat. It was stained with blood. "What the!!!"

Ms. P entered the room. "Hey BEN, you awa-OH DEAR ZALGO!!"

BEN's head was cut. All the way around. And the cut was deathly deep. The blood was now dripping down BEN's head, instead of soaking into his hat. "Pencilneck help me..." he whispered.

"O-ok, BEN," she studdered. "I'll be back." Ms. P ran out of the room, going to the breakfast bar. Masky and Hoodie were already there. 'Oh thank Zalgo,' she thought. "Guys! Come quick! Something happened to BEN!"

'What the hell happened to me?' BEN thought. 'Did someone attack me? Did something fall on me?' He grabbed his music box and began to turn it. It calmed him down a little bit, but it didn't stop the throbbing pain in his head. He tried to smile to his song, but he couldn't stop thinking about Jeff. The way he held BEN close to his chest. The way he kissed him passionatly to cheer him up. The way he loved him. Every moment was treasure to BEN. But now that was only in his dreams.

Now the blood that was dripping down his face, was not only from his head, but now from his eyes.

"BEN?" Masky called. He opened the door, and flinched when he saw BEN. "What happened?!"

BEN sniffed and looked up at Masky. "I don't know," he said. "Please help..."

Masky ran up to BEN, taking his hat and placing it on the floor. Ms. P and Hoodie walked in after him. Ms. P had a first aid kit. She went up to BEN and took out the bandages. She wrapped it around his head, trying to avoid his eyes, but they were close.

BEN winced at the pain. "Who did this to me?" he asked.

Hoodie sighed. "After you fell asleep, Jane escaped from me. She went into your room and she cut your head with her knife. She wasn't able to cut deep enough to cut it open, thank Zalgo. I ran in and got her away from you. I tried to heal you, but I didn't have anything to help you with," he explained. "Somehow, you didn't wake up. It looked like you didn't even feel it."

BEN's eyes widened. 'If it didn't hurt me, did the Jeff dream protect me?' he thought. "Oww, ow ow."

"Sorry BEN," Ms. P said. She accidently ran her hand into BEN's cut.

Once she was done wrapping him up, BEN asked the others to leave. "I need some time alone," he said. Before they left, Masky stopped in the door.

"You sure you don't need anything?" he asked.

BEN looked up at Masky, holding his head in pain. "No thanks, Mask. I'm ok."

"You sure?"

BEN chuckled. "Maybe a beer," he joked.

Masky laughed. "Yeah, it's on me," he said before exiting the room, shutting the door behind him.

BEN grabbed his music box and began to turn it. It made him relax. That's when he remembered that tonight was karaoke night. He knew Jeff wouldn't hear it, but he was going to sing anyway. He'll just dedicate it to him. BEN stopped his music box, and picked up his hat. It was still stained with blood. He'll just wash it later.

He reached inside and pulled out his laptop. He went straight to YouTube and started listening to that song he heard. He also found the song on iTunes. He downloaded the karaoke version, and burned it onto a CD. "I'll give this to the DJ tonight," he said. He then decided to fix his head. He went on Google and looked up a healing fairy from Legend of Zelda. He reached into the computer and pulled out a fairy, healing him instantly. He laughed. "Oh man, I love technology."

Moments later, Masky entered the room with a beer in each hand. He handed one to BEN. "Here you go, bud," he said. He popped the cap off, and waited for BEN too open his.
BEN smiled. "Thanks, Mask," he said before opening his beverage. He clanked his bottle against Masky's, then took a sip.

"Heeeeey, yo, Mask!" BEN said. He was drunk. After one beer, he wanted another. And then another. And then more. What BEN didn't realize, was that karaoke started in an hour.

Masky drank the rest of his beer, and looked over at BEN. "What's up, BENNY boy??" he asked, intoxicated.

BEN flopped over Masky, his arm around his shoulder. "Listen, I--*hic*, I freakin' love you man."

"Ahh, I love you too, bro." They both ended up in a big, druken hug full of laughter.

Two beers later, BEN fell out of his bar seat. He didn't care. He was too drunk. But he did care when he saw the clock. "Ahhhh sh*t son, k--*hic*,kararaoke starts in fffffffiveteen minutes," he said. He got up, and wobbeled out of the bar.

Once BEN hobbled over to his bed, he grabbed his laptop and looked up a healing fairy again. Deleting many typos he made along the way. He pulled it out, and smiled as it healed him. His intoxicated mind was now at a normal state. It also healed his bruises, he fell down a couple times coming back to his room.

He went on YouTube, listened to the song one more time, allowing him to memorize it. He flinched, however, when he noticed that Ms. P entered the room.

"Karaoke starts in 5 minutes BEN," she said. She walked over and sat on the bed next to him. "If you're still upset, you don't have to go."

BEN smiled. He was happy that Ms. P cared about him the way she did. "Thanks, Ms. P. But I'm still going to go. I'm even going to sing."

Ms. P cooked her head, "Oh, really? What song?"

"You'll see," he replied.
